Brazilian actress, dancer and choreographer Fernanda Silva runs the Teatro Metáfora group in Parnaíba in the state of Piauí in the far north of Brazil. It was founded 30 years ago and has established itself as a place of active political resistance. Fernanda’s oeuvre includes the following works: Trovoada (Thunderstorm), The lady Macbeth, Impossivel estruprar esta Mulher cheia de vícios (It’s impossible to rape this woman full of vices), Involuntários de Pátria (Involuntaries of the Homeland), Antonia, the crying light and the movie Camellia with the Swiss Max Hermann.
