We invite you to the 8th edition of the Almost Summer Festival, from 10 to 20 June in Kortrijk. Come and discover new works that were partly conceived and made at BUDA.Â
The programme has grown step by step, shaped by projects that each explore the theme of invisibility in their own way. Invisibility that leaves room for the imagination, or that serves the interests of the powerful. It can be a force or a poison. Golden fractures, forgotten extras, colonial traditions and creatures that seemed to have sunk away – the artists bring to light what remains hidden beneath the surface.
We’re wrapping things up with a party! On 20 June, we’ll be celebrating BUDA’s 20th anniversary with a performance by Lydia McGlinchey, created especially for the occasion.
