Calixto Neto likes to think of the choreographic field as a place of intersection between notions of identity, representations of the (black) body, and decolonization. Besides collaborations with other artists in dance and visual arts, he develops his own work between writing, pedagogy and in the creation of the solos oh!rage and Outrar (in collaboration with Lia Rodrigues and her dancers), the group piece FEIJOADA and the films O Samba do Crioulo Doido: ruler and Compas and Pro Futuro Quilombo.
