Urtė Groblytė
Urtė Groblytė is a maker and performer based in Brussels who works in dance, theater and choreography. Fiction, poetry and storytelling – in addition to a deep commitment to physicality – shape her artistic process, creating a continuous dialogue between text and movement.
Urtė completed her education at the National M.K. Čiurlionis School of Arts (LT) with classical ballet training. Between 2018 and 2019, she studied modern dance at Folkwang University of Arts. In 2022 she graduated from PARTS’ bachelor’s programme and in 2024 she completed the STUDIOS master’s program there.
In addition to her work as a maker, she has collaborated with Alexander Vanthournout, Alexis Blake, Marijn Ottenhof, Elen Braga, Renato Misckolzi, Ode de Kort, Josef Simon, Alban Ovanessian, Eleni Roberts Kazouri and Vladimir Babinchuk Outerelo. With Judith Dhondt she collaborates since 2022.
