How does distance reshape relationships? And how can we rebuild them when we cannot meet in person?
Julie Laporte is a choreographic artist currently living in Sète. Her practice is rooted in dance, voice and touch. As a contemporary dancer, she trained in Montpellier at Epsedanse and in Brussels at P.A.R.T.S.
She studied choreographic art at Paris VIII University and joined a module at the CCN in Montpellier, where she encountered Lisa Nelson’s work. She has performed in various choreographic and theatrical productions in France, Germany, Belgium, and Switzerland. Julie has also been a shiatsu practitioner
since 2014, certified by Iokaï Europe Shiatsu, and shares her practice in workshops. Since 2011, she has been collaborating on specific projects around modes of attention and perception with Myriam Lefkowitz.
