To round off the festival and to mark the 20th anniversary of the BUDA arts centre, Lydia McGlinchey has created a celebration that blends clubbing, performance and installation.
Lydia Mcglinchey was born in Sydney, of Peruvian-Irish descent. Lydia studied in P.A.R.T.S where she received her MA in choreography and training in dance. She is currently working as a performer and maker in Brussels, where she has lived for several years. Trained in dance/performance, she also works with textile/fiber art. After a residency at BUDA, her latest show FERAL was previously shown at arts centre BUDA. Lydia worked together with several artists, including Alix Eynaudi, Simon Van Schuylenbergh, Nathan Ooms, Stefa Govaart, Micha Goldberg and Rosie Sommers.
